Done for You Screening of Credit Spreads Conforming the Monthly Income Machine

Facing difficulties in applying the principles of the Monthly Income Machine?

Learning the principles of the Monthly Income Machine is straight forward. After the reading, most readers of the book are ready to use the Machine.

Apprentices begin the use of the Machine by paper trading and monitoring 2 to 3 stock/ETF/index symbols. When the skills are matured, experienced users want to identify opportunities of more symbols. Although many opportunities exist in the markets, credit spread candidates (which is interchangeably called as “credit spreads” on the SaferTrader website) satisfying the entry rules are not easily identified. Scanning the entire markets can be a time consuming process for some people, because multiple information sources (e.g., option quotes, fundamentals, etc.) have to be integrated and manual work may be involved.

Based on frequent requests from our readers, SaferTrader built proprietary software to automate the screening process.

How is the screening service offered?

The service of Conforming Credit Spreads Screening is offered based on membership subscription.

Our software scans the markets at the end of trading weeks and generates screening reports of credit spread candidates conforming the entry rules. On a weekly basis, SaferTrader distributes the reports to our subscribers via emails and posts the reports in the member-only space on our website.

However, it is the sole responsibility of the subscribers to confirm that (1) the credit spread candidates identified are suitable in terms of the subscribers’ own objectives, financial situations and risk tolerance, and (2) a credit spread candidate identified continues to meet the subscribers’ preferable entry requirements at the time when a trade order is to be placed.

What are the membership levels ?

SaferTrader offers Premier and Free Memberships.

Premier Members can access historical reports from 1 year ago up to date in the Premium Content space, and receive current reports in weekends on a weekly basis. Premier Membership can be canceled any time and will be downgraded to Free Membership at the end of the subscription month, where a subscription month starts on the day when a subscription fee is charged and lasts till the day before the following subscription fee is charged. However, although a canceled Premier Membership remains its access to the current reports on the website till the end of the subscription month, the email distribution of current reports is stopped immediately.

Free Members can access historical reports from 1 year ago to 3 months ago in the Premium Content space. They can view the historical reports to evaluate if the service is a good fit. Free Membership is good for apprentices who are still in a learning mode and for potential subscribers who are not ready for the Premier service. Free Membership can be upgraded to a higher level any time upon a paid subscription is made.

A chart of the membership comparisons is shown on the subscription page.

Who are eligible to subscribe the screening service?

Every one is eligible. However, bear in mind that our software searches for the credit spread candidates only conforming the rules specified in the Monthly Income Machine.

Is the screening service a trade recommendation service?

Absolutely NOT. The screening service merely lists credit spread candidates that meet the trade entry rules of the Monthly Income Machine as of Friday closing prices, and does not constitute a “recommendation service.”

Can you provide a track record?

Since the screening service is not a trade recommendation service, it is inappropriate – or even impossible – to provide a track record in the traditional sense.

The credit spread candidates identified in a report may be established at higher or lower net premiums than existed at the Friday closes on which the report is based. In fact, it sometimes happens that a listed credit spread candidate cannot be established at all once the markets re-open on the following Monday because of major price changes in the underlying or option legs.  The investor would then need to check the next higher or lower pairs of option strike prices to see if they conformed to all the trade entry requirements of the Monthly Income Machine. Performance would also depend upon the MRA (maximum risk amount) the investor chooses to use for his stop loss order and whether he allows successful trades to go all the way to expiration or takes profits early. To get a sense of how users rate the technique, you might want to look over the actual investor reviews published on the Monthly Income Machine Amazon page. Importantly, the approach can be successful no matter what the markets’ overall environment at the moment.  By their nature, credit spreads are much less dependent on market directions than outright long or short positions and can prosper irrespective of which way the markets go.
